“World is One 2021” is a collaboration song between Chuu of LOONA and Kim Yo-han of WEi, featuring American singer Eric Bellinger. It was released on September 15, 2021 as part of the 2021 World is One Global Movement, a project designed to promote a better world for children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

팬데믹으로 더욱더 소외되고 있는 전 세계들의 아이들을 위해 한국과 미국의 아티스트들이 함께한다. 한국의 대세 아이돌 ‘이달의 소녀’의 츄와 ‘위아이’의 김요한, 그리고 그래미상을 수상한 바 있는 ‘에릭 벨린저’가 국경을 초월한 작업을 통해 전 세계인들의 마음을 하나로 묶는 글로벌 프로젝트를 진행한다.

MBC와 전 세계 최대 글로벌 NGO 단체인 월드비전이 공동 기획하는 이번 프로젝트는 ‘2021 월드이즈원 글로벌 무브먼트’의 본격적인 시작을 알린다. 츄, 김요한 그리고 에릭 벨린저의 ‘World is One 2021’ 캠페인의 시작은 모두가 함께 할 수 있는 댄스 챌린지로 연결되고, 이는 다시 오는 10월 30일 전 세계 120여개국 유튜브 라이브로 생중계되는 ‘2021 월드이즈원’ 콘서트로 이어진다.

‘World is One 2021’ 앨범은 캠페인 타이틀 송 ‘World is One 2021’ 단일 음원을 담고 있다. 대세 아이돌 츄의 매력적인 음색이 노래 안에서 하나의 걸음이 되어 작은 울림을 만들어 내며, 김요한의 호소력 짙은 목소리는 우리가 직접 아이들을 위해 움직여야 한다는 일깨움을 던져준다. 저스틴 비버, 어셔, 크리스 브라운, 아산티 등 미국에서 가장 콜라보 하고 싶어하는 아티스트로 선망 받고 있는 에릭 벨린저는 이 곡을 위해 직접 가사를 쓰고 완성도 높은 보컬을 선보이며 프로젝트의 설렘을 배가시켰다. 이들이 만들어 내는 선한 영향력의 시너지는 뮤직비디오로도 제작되어 각각의 개성 있고 감각적인 영상들과 함께 전 세계인들의 마음을 움직일 것이다.
