“Strawberry soda” is a song that expresses the emotions of five girls embarking on a new journey through lively lyrics and instruments. It is a disco genre song that captures the feeling that although we know that our journey will not be smooth, we will be beautiful and happy together.[3]
“Strawberry soda”는 새로운 여정을 떠나는 다섯 소녀들의 감정을 통통 튀는 가사와 악기를 통해 표현한 곡으로 우리의 여정이 순탄하지만은 않을 것이라는 걸 알고 있지만, 함께라면 그 자체로 아름답고 행복할 것이라는 마음을 담아낸 디스코 장르의 곡이다.[3]

As the girls depart from the Moon where they had remained thus far, they know that the journey they’re embarking on, without knowing when it will end, won’t always be an easy one. But if the girls are together, the journey in itself wil be beautiful and pretty. This song uses the sweet but also zesty taste of strawberry soda as a metaphor for that story.[4]

- Yves’ explanation on the meaning of the lyrics of “Strawberry soda”.[6]
- Yves: “In the beginning of the intro the members are on the Moon and among the many frequencies in space, I imagined one particular frequency calling to the members.
So I imagined a scene where the members discover that signal and set out on a journey, as if they’re guided.” - Yves: “So in Verse 1, they’ve finally departed from the Moon where they were staying, whether of their own volition or by outside forces...
They recognize the shattered dreams: “Our forgotten dream, we once again | Recount it”. Think of the appearance of how the members used to look as the wilted flower. And even though that flower may be dead, when the flower wilted, they came to understand that they shouldn’t stay on that Moon anymore. There is a reason to everything that happened, to all the wounds. That’s why I called it “the gift of a wilted flower”.
So afterwards, they imbue meaning on hearts that used to beat without purpose: “And let’s collect again the shards of the dream we’d forgotten and abandoned | Let’s move forward again”.”
