“Starlight ” (Hangul: 스타라이트) is the fifth track from the mini album Mix & Match LOONA ’s second sub-unit, ODD EYE CIRCLE . It was later included in the repackage album Max & Match
A live version of the song was released on December 25, 2018, as a Christmas gift for fans .

Fans who like LOOΠΔ 1/3 might be surprised with ODD EYE CIRCLE as their music is in the complete opposite style. While LOOΠΔ 1/3 has focused to create sounds of cliche images of young girls, ODD EYE CIRCLE is creating their music in the original shapes of a girl-crush in the form of a pop-tune. They’ve put stories among girls, more important than stories about boys, into this track, “Starlight”. Story told under the starlight endlessly until the morning comes.[1]
이달의 소녀 1/3 을 좋아했던 팬들은 충격이라고 느낄 만큼 오드아이써클은 정반대의 지점에 서 있다. 음악 역시도 이달의 소녀 1/3이 소녀 그 자체의 클리쉐를 소리로 구현하는데 집중했다면 오드아이써클은 걸크러쉬의 원형을 Pop-Tune의 음악으로 만들어내고 있다. 사실은 남자친구 이야기보다 오히려 더 소중한 소녀들끼리의 이야기를 ‘Starlight’에 담아냈다. 별빛 아래서 밤새 수다를 떨어도 끝나지 않는 소녀들의 이야기.[2]

Trivia [ ] “Starlight” was originally made for a boy group, so the staff/song producers/recording engineers had them re–record the song in a slightly higher key. They got to the studio at around 10 or 11pm and started recording at around 1 to 2am, very late The girls recounting this episode:[3] JinSoul: “So if you listen to ‘Starlight’ closely, we probably sound a bit tired.”
Choerry: “Yes, because we recorded while dozing off.”
Kim Lip: “I was even more tired because I had just come from [recording] ‘Chaotic ’. It was so late! [...] Right, it was 3am.”
Choerry: “You can feel the drowsiness.”
Kim Lip: “But for that, I think it came out well.”
Choerry: “Right, dreamy.”
