“Singing in the Rain” (Hangul: 싱잉 인 더 레인) is the first and the title track of the single album JinSoul, the solo single album of previously introduced member JinSoul.

JinSoul had caught the eyes of the fans first with ViVi’s help during their encounter in Hong Kong. She finally joins LOOΠΔ with her new single, ‘Singing in the Rain’.

Dressed in a blue school uniform, she brings a future bass track, ‘Singing in the Rain’ to show her colors to the fullest. The track fires up speakers with its accelerating tempo like a pulsating heart in excitement.

‘진솔’은 홍콩에서 ‘비비’의 도움으로 팬들에게 소개된 이후 꾸준히 관심을 모아왔고, 드디어 “Singing in the Rain”으로 본격적인 합류를 알렸다.

‘김립’과 마찬가지로 파란 교복을 입고 강렬한 등장을 한 ‘진솔’은 Future Bass 트랙 “Singing in the Rain”을 통해 자신의 매력을 십분 발휘한다. “Singing in the Rain”은 심장이 빨라지듯 점점 트랙도 속도를 내며 스피커의 열기를 뜨겁게 달군다.

• “Singing in the Rain” is the first LOONA music video to reach 4 million views.
• The version featuring HeeJin was originally meant for Kim Lip but HeeJin and HaSeul also recorded the part, ending with HeeJin’s version getting released.
• There is an undisclosed choreography version that was shown at LOOΠΔ X Study Group and LOONA Cinema Theory: Up & Line.
• The music video was filmed in Gimpo, South Korea.
• Ryu Ji In (a former A&R for LOONA) revealed she played as a stunt for the underwater scenes since JinSoul had a panic attack.
• “Singing in the Rain” was written during a songwriting camp called “Camp Awesome” that gathered The Kennel’s producers Caesar & Loui (Daniel Caesar and Ludwig Lundell), Ollipop, Cage (Karl-Oskar Julius Gummesson) and Oneye.

Caesar & Loui: "The idea of the camp is to write great songs together during a whole week and end it with a listening party. It’s a really fun and creative way of writing songs and all of us can come in and give feedback during the process of the song-making. [Singing in the Rain] was found rather fast by LOONA, it took only a few months until they wanted to record the song."

The song is a mashup of two different productions that were made and re-produced before the camp.

The drop part - made by Caesar & Loui in 2014-2015. They re-produced the idea right before the camp.

The other part of the production (verse-beat and the part before the drop) - made by Oneye right before the camp.

Caesar & Loui: "During the session of making the song we thought, let’s put the productions together, and it worked! After that we top-lined the track and came up with the title "Singing In The Rain".

Caesar & Loui: "I think the main idea of the song was to create something groovy and danceable. It felt like LOONA really understood that, the video and the dance moves looks great."

The robotic voice in the song's second chorus is from the demo version of the song. It’s Ludwig Lindell's voice "pitched down to make it sound like some kind of a robot".
