“Second love” (Hangul: 두 번째 사랑) is a song by Seo Jin-young (서진영). It is the ninth track from the Summer Scent OST album.

Chuu released a remake of the song as the part one of the 20th anniversary of Korean wave project. An acoustic version was released on September 12, 2024, as a second part of the same project.

The singer Chuu has recently participated in the 20th Anniversary of Hallyu remake project. This is a project to remake OSTs from Hallyu dramas, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Hallyu wave in Japan which began with the KBS-2TV drama Winter Sonata. This remake project also contains songs from the OSTs of the four seasons drama series produced alongside Winter Sonata, namely Spring Waltz, Summer Scent, and Autumn in My Heart.

Nine of the nation’s best K-pop artist teams participated in this project album, and they are set to be revealed one by one beginning with the first vocalist in Chuu.

Park Jung-won, the director of this project, served as the executive music director of the Hallyu dramas Winter Sonata, Spring Waltz, Summer Scent, and Autumn in My Heart, and is a composer and producer who was a member of the group Mono. This remake project is being rearranged in new styles to suit the K-pop artists’ styles.

As the first vocalist, Chuu selected the theme song of Summer Scent’s OST, “Second love (두 번째 사랑)”. As the theme of the sentimental drama starring Song Seung-heon and Son Ye-jin, a sad melody and heartfelt lyrics stand out in this ballad and it is recast in Chuu’s refreshing and expressive voice.

한류시작 20주년 기념 프로젝트 “츄(CHUU) 두 번째 사랑”

가수 츄는 최근 한류 시작 20주년 리메이크 프로젝트에 참여했다. kbs-2TV에서 방영되었던 드라마 겨울연가를 중심으로 시작된 일본 한류 20주년을 기념하며 제작되는 한류 드라마 OST 리메이크 프로젝트이다. 이번 리메이크 프로젝트는 드라마 겨울연가와 함께 제작되었던 사계절 드라마 시리즈였던 봄의왈츠, 여름향기, 가을동화의 OST 수록곡들이 함께 리메이크 되었다.

이번 프로젝트 앨범에는 국내 최고의 K-POP 아티스트 9팀이 대거 참여했으며 첫번째 가창 아티스트인 츄를 시작으로 순차적으로 앨범에 참여한 아티스트들이 한팀씩 공개 될 예정이다.

이번 프로젝트에 음악감독인 박정원은 한류 드라마였던 겨울연가와 봄의 왈츠, 여름향기, 가을동화의 총 음악감독이였으며 그룹 모노 출신의 작곡가 겸 프로듀서이다. 이번 리메이크 프로젝트는 K-POP 아티스트들에 스타일에 맞춰 새로운 스타일로 재 편곡 되어 선보일 예정이다.

첫번째 가창 아티스트인 가수 츄(CHUU)가 선곡한 곡은 드라마 여름향기 OST 테마곡인 “두 번째 사랑”이다. 이곡은 배우 송승헌과 손예진이 주연한 감성 드라마 여름향기 OST 테마곡이며 슬픈 멜로디의 애절한 가사가 돋보이는 발라드 곡으로 츄의 상큼하고 또 호소록 짙은 목소리로 들려질 예정이다.
