OURII (Hangul: 울이, Ul-i) is ARTMS’s official fandom name. It was officially established on October 25, 2023 via fan voting (Gravity).[1]
Meaning[]
“OURII” was suggested by user supereduardus and chosen as one of five potential names to be voted on by fans.[2] “OURII” combines the fifth letter of each member’s name (JinSoul, HaSeul, Choerry, HeeJin, Kim Lip). In Korean, the name is pronounced like “우리” (uri), meaning “us/we” or “ours”. The “O” and use of five also calls back to LOONA’s fandom name “Orbit (오빛, o-bit)”; “O (오)” means “five” in Korean. Finally, “one trillion” can be written in Korean as “울 (ul)”, representing the members’ growth and potential.
