Max & Match (Hangul: 맥스 앤 매치) is the repackage studio album of Mix & Match mini-album by ODD EYE CIRCLE, LOONA’s second sub-unit consisting of the members Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry.
Description[]
LOOΠΔ started with the system where each member of the group has an own character as a solo artist, who will gather up to form a unit, which will also bond to become one whole team. The story of the development is built within the organic relationship among any members or units.
LOOΠΔ / ODD EYE CIRCLE consists of three extraordinary girls to complete three moons (ODD). [Max&Match], a repackage album following the release of [Mix&Match], is an expression of the will to surpass the limits of ODD EYE CIRCLE once again.
Expanding its universe with the units from LOOΠΔ 1/3 to LOOΠΔ / ODD EYE CIRCLE, LOOΠΔ only has four more members to go to complete the zodiac signs.[2]
‘이달의 소녀’는 한 명, 한 명의 멤버가 솔로로서의 캐릭터를 갖고 그 솔로가 모여 유닛을 만들고, 또 그 유닛이 모여 하나의 팀이 된다는 시스템을 가지고 시작되었다. 그리고 멤버와 멤버. 유닛과 유닛 사이에는 유기적인 관계를 가지고 성장 스토리를 만들어 나간다.
‘이달의 소녀 오드아이써클’은 세 명의 평범하지 않은 소녀들이 모여 세 개의 달(ODD)을 완성한다는 의미이다. 그리고 앨범 [Mix&Match]에 이은 리패키지 앨범 [Max&Match]는 오드아이써클의 한계를 또 한 번 뛰어 넘어보겠다는 의지의 표현이다.
‘이달의 소녀 1/3’, ‘이달의 소녀 오드아이써클’까지 세계관을 확장해 나가고 있는 ‘이달의 소녀’는 이제 나머지 4명의 네 명의 멤버들을 공개하며 별자리를 완성한다.[3]

Trivia[]
- As of October 2023, the album has sold 2,181 copies on Hanteo, and 14,141 copies on Gaon.[7]
- The lyrics of “Girl Front” changed many times before the official version was recorded. They had words such as “beach” and “shellfish” in it.[8]
- “Starlight” was originally made for a boy group, so the staff/song producers/recording engineers had them re-record the song in a slightly higher key. They got to the studio at around 10 or 11pm and started recording at around 1-2 am, very late.
- JinSoul: “So if you listen to ‘Starlight’ closely, we probably sound a bit tired.”
- Choerry:”Yes, because we recorded while dozing off.”
- Kim Lip: “I was even more tired because I had just come from [recording] ‘Chaotic’. It was so late! [...] Right, it was 3am.”
- Choerry: “You can feel the drowsiness.”
- Kim Lip: “But for that, I think it came out well.”
- Choerry: “Right, dreamy.”
- JinSoul: “Because of the dreamy vibe.”
- Kim Lip: “Yeah, in a dreamy way.”
