이달의 소녀 yyxy (LOONA yyxy) "one"

Main Theory (twinfish)[]

At the start, we first see Yves wearing white walking into darkness. White means purity, while darkness shows incoming doom and evilness. The song that begins to play in the background is "Das Heimliche Lied", which means "The Secret Song". Its lyrics focus on inner peace, a secret place, an oasis. It sounds like a lot like the Garden of Eden. The place, where the yyxy girls reside.

Yves opens the door. Doors represent the division between good and evil. It is especially important to note Yves is the girl opening the door as she was the first girl to reject Eden. The word "Faith" appears on screen. Yves was the girl with enough faith in herself to fall from Eden.

Chuu picks up the apple. Her dress is black and her apple is green as seen in Heart Attack. The green apple reflects her immaturity and childish mannerisms. The dress is black because she picked up the apple, which is forbidden. She is going to sin and give in to evil and darkness. "Love" is the word related to Chuu. Love is what inspired Chuu to disobey God and fall from Eden as she was in love with Yves.

Go Won walks into a room. It is lit by sunlight, which is knowledge, and enlightment, but also goodness, and holiness. The room contains many chandeliers and religious paintings on the walls. The chandelier represents Go Won's crown, and the religious paintings relate to her holiness. The word "Hope" is related to Go Won. Go Won had hope in herself, her capabilities and status. She rejected Eden in pursuit of it. Go Won then enters another, this time dark, room. The music loops again. It represents the girls' unison - they are one in a continuous cycle.

We see Olivia Hye in the mirror wearing white. The mirror reflects what we see, it reflects ourselves. Mirrors are for self-understanding and seeing oneself clearly. "Anger" is the word associated to Olivia Hye. Different from the previous ones, anger is one of the worst characteristics of human nature. Human beings are complex - they can't be just good or bad. The Eden girls are one. Some of them represent good aspects of the self, and some bad.

But all of these characteristics are central to a human being and to the self. To understand yourself, you must come to terms with even your most undesirable traits. Otherwise, you cannot become whole.

"I don't need no Garden of Eden" - those are the lyrics from One & Only. Except, in this context they are resentful. We don't need Eden, we don't need heaven. We don't need somebody trying to define us. We need self-thought, and self-love. The only way to harness that self-love is to come to terms with ourselves, with our whole selve. Every aspect of our being into one.
