“Distress (조난)” came in a hard-fought second place in the ARTMSpre-release Gravity, but it was such a highly polished song that it was the first song recorded during album preparations. The moment monitoring began in the first recording session, this song became the rulebook for ARTMS’s style.[2]
“조난”은 ARTMS선공개 투표에서 아쉽게 2위를 차지했지만, 앨범 준비 당시 첫 번째 곡으로 녹음했을 정도로 완성도 높은 곡이었다. 첫 녹음실에서 모니터를 하는 순간 이미 이 곡은 ARTMS의 스타일을 규정지었다.[3]
