“Around You” (Korean: 다녀가요, Danyeogayo, Leaving) is the second and title track from the HyunJin’s self-titled single album HyunJin.

“Around You (다녀가요)” is a teenage ballad track that has not been heard in some time, which paints the emotions of a beautiful crush that an adolescent girl might have upon a piano melody. The video accompanying “Around You (다녀가요)”, entirely filmed in Tokyo, include an 8-minute film version which is reminiscent of a Japanese romance film as well as a music video version.

“다녀가요”는 오랜만에 만나보는 틴에이지 발라드 트랙으로 딱 사춘기의 소녀가 할 수 있을 법한 아름다운 짝사랑의 감정을 피아노 선율에 그려냈다. 도쿄 올로케이션으로 이루어진 “다녀가요”의 영상은 마치 일본의 순정 영화를 보는 것과 같은 8분 가량의 런닝 타임을 가진 영화 버전과 뮤직비디오 버전 두 가지로 이루어져 있다.

Trivia

• The music video for “Around You (다녀가요)” was filmed in Tokyo, Japan.
  • This is the first music video that is filmed outside of South Korea.
• The cat head used in the music video is a model called “Chatora” (Japanese: 茶トラ) and was made by a cat doll artist Sato Noriyuki using wool felt.
• “Around You (다녀가요)” was originally written for the girl group LADIES’ CODE but Jaden Jeong asked MonoTree to give the song to LOONA. The producers altered the melody of the chorus to suit LOONA. The original version of the song, also known as “Around You 2.0”, was peformed at the LOONA Concert [LOONAVERSE].
