“Air Force One” (Hangul: 에어 포스 원) is the second and title track from ODD EYE CIRCLE’s second mini album <Version Up>.

Description[]

There were two candidate songs contending for the main song. The chosen main song was “Air Force One”, a song in the Jersey club genre encapsulating ODD EYE CIRCLE’s new style while embodying the girls’ healthy steps. G-high, who had previously produced “Butterfly” and “Uncover”, reunited with the girls. Working with a producer who knew Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry’s colors and strengths better than anyone else, their collaboration transcended time and was completed in an instant. Especially, Kim Lip’s participation added more vitality to the lyrics.

Taking off the symbolic Converse shoes of ODD EYE CIRCLE and wearing new ones. And the sensation of looking down from the sky from an Air Force One, a presidential aircraft. Air Force One carries ambiguous meanings, but what ultimately shines through is the story of the girls’ growth, having taken a step further. So, we tie our shoelaces and Do It again.^[2]^[3]

타이틀 곡은 두 곡의 후보를 두고 각축을 다투었다. 타이틀로 결정된 곡은 Jersey Club 장르의 ‘Air Force One’ ODD EYE CIRCLE의 새로운 스타일을 담고 있으면서도 소녀들의 건강한 발걸음이 간직된 음악. ‘Butterfly’와 ‘Uncover’ 등을 만든 G-high가 오랜만에 프로듀싱을 맡아 소녀들을 만났다. 김립, 진솔, 최리의 색깔과 장점을 누구보다 잘 알고 있는 프로듀서와의 작업은 시간을 뛰어넘어 순식간에 이루어졌다. 특히 김립이 작업에 참여하며 더욱 가사를 생기있게 다듬어 냈다.

ODD EYE CIRCLE의 상징이었던 컨버스를 벗고 새로운 신발을 신게 된 마음가짐. 그리고 대통령 전용 비행기인 에어포스원처럼 하늘 위에서 내려다보는 기분. 중의적인 의미를 담고 있지만 결국 관통하는 것은 한 단계 올라선 소녀들의 성장 이야기. 그래서 우린 신발끈 묶고 다시 Do It.^[2]^[3]
