“Air” (Hangul: 에어) is the fourth pre-release single from ARTMS’ debut studio album <Dall>, on which it serves as the seventh track. It was released on May 10, 2024.
The fourth pre-release song “Air” from ARTMS’s first full-length album <Dall> is a song created by sampling ODD EYE CIRCLE’s title song “Air Force One”.
Just as the second pre-release song “Flower Rhythm” and the third pre-release song “Candy Crush” were created based on HeeJin and HaSeul’s solo music, respectively, ARTMS’s last pre-release song “Air” was also made based on ODD EYE CIRCLE’s song, completing the puzzle in the series.
Through “Air”, which contains the unique sensibility of G-high, who has been producing since LOONA, ARTMS’ music has a completely new charm compared to previous songs, raising expectations for the upcoming album.
ARTMS’ album preparations began with ODD EYE CIRCLE’s <Version Up> album promotions, HeeJin’s solo, and HaSeul’s small theater concert, and the culmination of ARTMS’s first full-length album <Dall> was achieved by expanding individual music and joining forces.
두번째 선공개 곡 “Flower Rhythm”과 세번째 선공개 곡 “Candy Crush”가 각각 희진의 음악과 하슬의 솔로 음악을 바탕으로 만들어졌듯 ARTMS의 마지막 선공개 곡인 “Air” 역시 ODD EYE CIRCLE의 곡을 바탕으로 완성하며 선공개 시리즈의 퍼즐을 완성했다.
이달의 소녀 때부터 프로듀싱을 맡았던 G-high 특유의 감각이 담겨져 있는 “Air”를 통해 앞선 곡들과는 완전히 새로운 매력의 ARTMS의 음악을 들려주며 정규 앨범에 대한 기대감을 높인다.
ODD EYE CIRCLE의 <Version Up> 앨범 활동과 희진의 솔로, 하슬의 소극장 콘서트때 부터 ARTMS의 앨범 준비는 이루어졌고 개인의 음악들을 확장하고 하나의 힘을 모아 ARTMS의 첫 정규 앨범 <Dall>을 통해 정점을 찍을 준비를 마쳤다.[2]
The final pre-release track “Air” borrows from “Air Force One” by ODD EYE CIRCLE, a song that tells the growth story of the girls who’ve taken a step higher, to make a dance track by which the five members gather to take a step forward as they finally complete ARTMS. Listeners can enjoy the members’ vocals that pop and bounce over the refreshing melody.[3]
