What's on your mind?
Soo we all know that LOONA has not official positions BUT, I think we can guess from all the treatment? they had counting pre debut and group songs. I don't have any idea of what I'm going to talk about so this could be absolutely wrong lmao.
Chuu: all the fandom knows that Chuu is the best (or the second best) vocal in LOONA. She's always getting the hard lines (higher notes that my self esteem lol) and all those things that a main vocal do. BUT!!!!, I think giving her many high notes in a song that has a choreo isn't the best idea, her breath control doesn't seem to be the best; so, in my opinion, they should give her many lines in ballads or songs that doesn't have a hard choreo, for example: perfect love.
HaSeul: we all know that HaSeul deserve that main vocal tittle, but I don't think that she could be considered as such bcs she didn't have that much of lines?. In ++ she was a vocalist, in XX she was a lead vocalist, and sadly she couldn't participate in all the tracks of #, but in Oh (Yes I Am) her lines were pretty risky and she was in top 3 for DDD, so hopefully in next comeback she finally could be considered as a main vocal.
Kim Lip: I'll say that she was a main vocal for OEC, but lead vocal for LOONA. In Stylish she's kinda considered as a main vocal (if I'm not wrong, she did hit the highest note in LOONA history). She's normally leading the chorus in LOONA songs and has a pretty good amount of lines (except for Where you At). Her tone is pretty pleasant to hear, so it's no surprise that she gets that many lines.
Yves: I think that Yves have the skills to be a main vocal but BBC didn't gave her a chance (at least in LOONA ot12 songs). She's one of the members that normally sings live, you can hear her voice crack in one of So What performances, so I'm hoping that someday she'll have the chance to show her full vocal talent in a LOONA song.
HeeJin: HeeJin is well known to have MANY lines. In ++ she had a pretty big amount of lines, in XX had a normal amount but still gave her a song (Where you At), and for # she had more lines than XX but not that much as ++. She is maybe the one that showed her vocal talent the most. She's really stable and charismatic so no wonder her big amount of lines.
JinSoul: I think that JinSoul was more focused in rap for OEC but in LOONA she's really focused in vocals. I'll say that in # the amount of hard notes has increased, she has almost one high note for each song, sooo I'm not sure if she maybe is going to be one of the main vocal for LOONA, but if she were in another group I'm sure she could do it.
Choerry: she have the skills but I'm not sure about her confidence. She kinda avoids hard notes if she can and kinda doesn't sing live? so I'm hoping she can deal with those lines someday.
Olivia Hye: I'm not totally sure with her, but in these comebacks she is kinda focused more on dance and rap so I'll say that at least right now she can be considered as a vocalist.
HyunJin: ok with this I'm kinda sure lol. In ++ she almost didn't had lines, in XX she had but nothing impresive, but in # WHAT HAPPENED. I don't know if it's just because HaSeul wasn't there but her lines were pretty hard in my opinion. Happy for her because she is stable and her tone is pretty good so them giving her this big chance is a total YES for me.
YeoJin: I think someday YeoJin could be treated as a vocalist but right now she didn't have that many chances, she just hit a high note in Perfect Love and Butterfly but that is it for now.
Go Won: didn't have many chances + doesn't have many confidence. If BBC is smart they could start giving Go Won more lines because her tone is pretty unique, they could give her bridge lines as Twice's Mina.
ViVi: still fighting with korean and didn't have that many chances (repeating a word doesn't count)
YeoJin (she's really good with freestyle and has a pretty good stage presence, her being so short it's a big disadvantage).
VISUAL LINE: (with this I'm kinda basing on this video and they are normally called pretty by koreans)
Olivia Hye (aspiring to be main)
Rapper: (doesn't rap that much)
Sub Rapper: (just rap for one or two songs)
What is your opinion???????????
Oh boy, this is gonna be a long one.
It still doesn't feel real. This really felt like a confirmation of LOONA's success, with one of the most ambitious projects in kpop history, dare I say music history. We've been knocked down over and over again by companies and corporations not believing in us and in LOONA's abilities, ruining the girls' chances of success over and over. But after nearly four years having the confirmation that yes, we are something incredible and something to be celebrated is rewarding to say the least.
Orbits have known for years that LOONA is different, that their music style, their lore, their talent, their visuals, even their album packaging is something new in kpop and will become insanely popular. We've been very very patient in waiting for LOONA to be recognized, and the fact that they finally are is amazing. It's not only telling the girls what Orbits have known all along, that they are truly talented, incredible people but also telling the entire kpop industry to watch out for LOONA, because they're going places. (I already have a loonathetour fund started lol)
Not only this, but seeing the girls celebrating, including HaSeul, is so rewarding. I can't wait to see what they do and what records they'll break and what awards they're gonna win next.
Loona fighting! ~♡
Hi guys! this post is intended to start a conversation about community and editing guidelines as relating to this wiki. I've seen a few users say that their goals including creating such guidelines, and I know we have some "best practices" scattered around the wiki (eg, UtauSteam and my discussion about date formatting), so I thought why not make this post!
To start, here are some tentative "rules" that I came up with while thinking about this.
File title format should be [Date Location Website Song Member.image], with each of those parts optional as required. location = MCountdown, etc, website = Twitter, NAVER, etc
Date format is international style (YYMMDD) when written in numbers (eg, 190608 or 19.06.08) and American style (DDMMYYYY) when written out (eg June 8, 2019) (subject to debate!)
Link to a wiki page the first time that a word appears in an article; eg, if an article refers to HeeJin several times, turn the first instance of her name into a link, but leave the others alone. unless you want to make them links too. but generally no.
[HeeJin] is correct, [Heejin] is not. (JinSoul, HaSeul, etc)
Please no fansite pics!
Punctuation occurs outside of quotation marks: ["HyunJin",] is correct, ["HyunJin,"] is not. (this is european style actually, idk if we want to change it? that's just how I noticed we do punctuation on this wiki and I've followed suit)
Guidelines obviously don't have to be super specific like that last example, those are just some things I thought of. please add your own ideas, or brainstorm about what you would like to add to a real list of guidelines!
Also… does anyone else not see bold text actually show up on articles or is that just me
Ok like,, negative one active users sdkjfhs?? who hurt loona wiki lmao
So since Danal has acquired the publishing rights to LOONA's releases, they've reissued a bunch of their old albums! LOONA is infamous for having albums out of stock and their releases going for ridiculous prices on Ebay (I'm talking $600 USD for ONE album) so this is great news for newer Orbits! All albums are set to release January 24th (12 days before #'s release) and we're not sure how long they'll be in stock for... so get them while you can! They've been updating what's available for preorder (originally it was just + + and beauty&thebeat, but today they added a bunch more) so I'll try to keep y'all updated! Current albums that are available are as follows:
• + + (normal edition a)
• + + (normal edition b)
• beauty&thebeat (normal edition)
• Kim Lip (b edition)
• HyunJin (hyunjin edition)
• HyunJin (heejin & hyunjin edition)
It doesn't look like they'll be reissuing any of the limited versions (but that's to be expected, they're limited) so if you own one of those you can probably start a retirement fund lol.
I've included a link to where they can be purchased (Yesasia) and I'll keep y'all posted on their availability! :)
LOONA will be releasing their first Season's Greetings this year, with preorders opening in November. so exciting!!
Could this be them preparing for a comeback? 😱

There's a lot of parallels with teasers of 'Butterfly' era.
That scene with Go Won, the girls with red "uniforms", but also with JinSoul's counterpart.
She was wearing an eyepatch alongside the other OEC conterparts in Hong Kong. Now, she is briefly seen in front of aquariums (0:43), looking at fish just like JinSoul did in her solo MV. [ If someone knows what the japanese sentence means, thanks for sharing ;) ] The problem is that she has short hair, but in "For all LOOΠΔs around the world", her eyepatch was recovering her right eye instead of the left one like the others (1:08). It's not the case in 'sweet crazy love' and in the teaser 'Reveal' of OEC where JinSoul and Kim Lip has the crescent light in their right eye unlike Choerry who has it in the left eye. Does that mean counterpart have slight differences with the "originals" ? Or is there a problem occurring ?
BURN (which is assumed to be the future title track) is written in burgundy, just like 'XIVX' in the teaser of the same name. It appears burgundy is Yves' color. And her representative animal (swan) was burning in 'Egoist' MV. Also, we can't deny the one Olivia Hye encounters here. We already seen her. I guess she is Yves' counterpart and the vibes will be a mix between 'new' and 'egoist'. Btw, there's a programming language named C++ (pronounced as "C plus plus") from which issued C# (pronounced as "C sharp"). Coincidence ? I don't think so. Be ready to see what being 'sharp' means in Loonaverse.
Before leaving, what did I think about the butterfly burning ? There's many symbolism :
- End of Butterfly era / turn the page on a new era
- Go Won is also represented with Hope in 'one' . Does that mean she lost hope in finding HaSeul ?
What are your thoughts on my first theory ?
So if you look down below, there is a review made by another user (on WattPad) in regards to the new release of Loona’s song, take a look & see if you agree with this! (not too popular because it’s a new review):
The Teaser for favOriTe was just released! I was really surprised that it was the same song as the OT12 dance break from Line & Up.
(sorry for my grammar, I'm french)
One hour ago, a new teaser has been posted on loonatheworld YouTube channel!
It's for the future YYXY song "love4eva".
What is your reaction? Are you surprised? Overjoyed?
